Sarah: Wow, I don’t think we have regular days actually. It’s so crazy, people are always ask like well whats a normal day like in the life of Everlife and I’m like well every days different sometimes we’ll be recording sometimes we’ll be out on the road touring and sometimes we’ll be at home hanging out with friends and watching tv and stuff so it’s definitely never normal
Sarah: It is wonderful! I see other artists a lot of times and they’re not related and it seems like it would be really hard for me. To be in that kind of situation because with my sisters we always say that we’re best friends and we really are. We’ve been close since we were really young and we’ve always been together so being on the road together was just a natural thing
Sarah: Wow, I remember one of the first times we got an email like that; a girl saying well this song blessed me in this way. You’re my role models. We were just thinking that’s like so incredible. We’re just out there playing our music and talking about what we’re talking about and it’s so cool that that has an affect on people our age and older and younger as well.
Sarah: I remember we were in NY we were doing like some publicity stuff there and we got the call from [Walt Disney Records] she called us up and she was like ‘We want you guys to sing a song on this upcoming album’ and we pretty much looked at each other and started crying, jumping around and we were just so excited because it was weird we never really thought hey maybe this will happen or maybe we will be on a CD with all these different Disney artists, and then it happened. We just couldn’t believe it. We were completely freaking out.
Sarah: Um Yes we were supposed to go this past summer to Ecuador but we ended up being on the road a lot but we definitely, it’s something that we’ve been to Costa Rica twice and once to Brazil and it was such an amazing experience. Ya know you go there and they’re just hungry for something. It’s so different from being here in the US and I love doing that. The three of us love doing that together. It was cool because I remember Amber saying one time that this is basically our extended missions trip here. Y a know for all the people that are in the states and all the other countries, as well, so hopefully we’ll be able to go sometime again.
Sarah: (laughs) Yes which is really weird, we’re always like, are you sure you know who we are? Ya know but it happened a lot, like in our home town when we would go back home people would be like freaking out and we’re gahhh! like we’re from here, ya. It’s okay we’re as normal as you are, ya know. It’s so cool to know that people do recognize you, obviously. Ya know it’s a really cool feeling, but sometimes it’s a little odd to think about.
Sarah: Oh wow, I don’t know. Like I love doing interviews. I never really think about the questions, really. Like I’m like okay I’m just going to talk and be me and seriously I never really thought about it before.
Sarah: We grew up on 50s and 60s rock. It’s really something we want to put into our music as well. Like Leonard Skynnard and Aerosmith and that sort of thing. So that’s definitely our roots so when we’re traveling we listen to that. But also, I don’t know, we listen to pop. We listen to rock. Sometimes we listen to jazz and stuff. It really varies. It kind of depends on what kind of mood we’re in. I guess.
Sarah: Wow that’s a really hard question. I think for me that song that I’ve always loved I love the words to it and thought it was so beautiful was I’ll Be by Edwin McCain and like I don’t know because it’s just so simple but it’s so profound.
Sarah: Huh, my cell phone. (laughs) I think I wouldn’t know what to do without it. I was thinking the other day when we were younger and didn’t have it and we were walking around and driving how did I live without it ya know.
Sarah: Um we were really obsessed with American Idol the past couple of seasons, like we would be like I remember when we would be back home in Pennsylvania practicing and we’d be there with our band sand we’d be like okay guys we have to cut it short because American Idol’s coming on. And um if we were on the road we’d have our mom tape it for us. And then we’d watch it when we got back. And that and we loved Dawson’s Creek too when it was on the air I would watch that every morning while I was doing school. (laughs)
Sarah: I think I would want to fly. I’ve always wanted, I think it would be so amazing like I love being outside and like the grass and the trees and all that kind of stuff and I think it would be incredible to be above everything looking down on it.
Sarah: One thing that we’re really big on is being ourselves, really being real and that kind of thing and saying here we are. We’re not going to change. This is what we’re supposed to be. And I think like, I don’t know, I’ve always been scared that someone will be like, you guys are really fake. That to me like, I don’t know because we try so hard just to be us and we really hope that that’s something people can see. If not then that would be bad. Ya know.
Sarah: I would probably say a little less stubborn. I’ve been that way since I was a baby. Like I don’t know why but sometimes I’ll be like really stubborn and difficult. I’ll be thinking in my head why are you being this way, ya know sometimes, I don’t know. I guess it’s just me.
Sarah: My favorite Disney Movie? Aladin. I loved Aladin. I always wanted to be Jasmine. Like that’s like one of my favorite songs, “A Whole New World.” I don’t know I thought it was like a really beautiful love story.
Is that Disney Movie still your favorite? Yeah, that and Cinderella. Like when we were younger the three of us were always obsessed with Disney movies. We would all pick like what Disney princesses we were and mine was Cinderella so that’s definatley one of my favorites too.
Sarah: Definatley thank you above everything because we would not be who we are today without God. It’s so incredible to know that we’re able to say ya know here’s our music and people are accepting and listening to it. And to be yourself in all things. Don’t ever think that there’s something you can’t accomplish because if you put your mind to something, if you go for it with your whole heart then ya know it’s going to be amazing and nothings going to be able to stop it.
