SSM: What is the best part of performing?
J-Me: The best part of performing is knowing that the people watching you are your fans and they are the ones that will go and buy your CD and spread the word about you to others, its a great feeling.
SSM: What is your favorite store to shop at?
J-Me: For regular days I like to shop at Abercrombie because I get that laid back look that I like, but for concerts and performances I like to shop at Hollywood Looks and sometimes Jewel for really awesome and unique dresses.
SSM: How do you judge a guy before you say yes to going out with him?
J-Me: He has to be able to make me laugh and be able to treat me good and keep me on my toes.
SSM: What advice would you give to other aspiring singers?
J-Me: I would say first of all, take singing lessons even if you have a perfect voice because it will help you have a more powerful and lushes sounding tone. I would also say to just keep trying, if you have a good voice and its what you want to do then you have a chance out there too.
SSM: How were you discovered?
J-Me: When I was younger my parents would always take me to karaoke for fun and one day fun turned into hard work and effort when a record company discovered me.
SSM: What do YOU think of yourself as?
J-Me: I think of myself as just a regular kid with a wonderful talent. I think that everyone with a talent should be recognized!
SSM: Do you know why so many people now put the "J" in front of their name? Like, J-Me, J-Mac...etc?
J-Me: Good question, I know that the reason I did it was because I couldn’t use my name Jaimie Lee so we used j-me, but I cant really answer that. When you find out let me know!
SSM: Who do you look up to?
J-Me: I look up to Britney because she has always achieved everything she wanted to, and I just hope that I can do the same.
SSM: Where is your favorite place to vacation?
J-Me: I've only been to the Bahamas once but when I went I had a blast and I would love to go again.
SSM: Have you ever been to Europe, and if so, what was your favorite place to go and if you *haven't*, where would you like to visit?
J-Me: I have never been to Europe but if I do go, I would love to visit Germany, because my dad lived there for awhile as a kid and has told me lovely stories and memories that I would like to be able to go back on when I am older.
SSM: We recently heard that you're getting a choreographer and a dancer, how do you feel about it?
J-Me: I think that it will be an awesome experience to get to know all of the dancers and build a relationship with each and every one of them. Not to mention it will make my whole performance 10 times better.
SSM: When do you plan to start touring again?
J-Me: You will be seeing me on tour starting June 12 through December.
SSM: What is one modern convenience you can't live without?
J-Me: My cell phone, I am always gone so that is the only way I can communicate with all my friends.
SSM: How do you feel about making it this far in your career? Did you think it would ever be this far or were you dreaming it would be this far?
J-Me: I never thought in a million years I would get this far, but now that I am here I can only dream that I will get farther.
