Jen and Kate are the new sister duo out of Minnesota. With Kate on guitar and Jen on vocals, and original songs with lyrics that actually mean something their music is definately something to check out.
SSM: What made you two decide to start performing together?
Jen: We decided to when we realized we could write songs together.
SSM: Do you ever get into arguments over how you are going to do things?
Kate: Yes, of course!
SSM: Can you describe how you feel onstage?
Jen: I feel like I am free and can do anything.
Kate: Usually I'm nervous at first, but I always get comfortable after a little bit.
SSM: What is the modern convenience you can’t live without?
Jen: A phone!
Kate: The Internet.
SSM: If you could be magically given the talent to do something, what talent would you want to be given?
Jen: That's hard; I can't decide. Maybe to do gymnastics really good, I've always wanted to.
Kate: I would like to be able to sing well.
SSM: What were your favorite Disney movies when you were younger?
Jen: Aladdin
Kate: The Little Mermaid
SSM: If you could switch lives for a day with anyone who would it be and why?
Jen: Anyone who's dating Paul Walker.
Kate: Hmm maybe someone from a different part of the world, so I could experience another culture.
SSM: Coke or Pepsi?
Jen: Coke
Kate: Neither, I love Mountain Dew.
SSM: What was the first concert you ever went to?
Jen: Spice Girls
Kate: Same as Jen
SSM: What is your favorite thing to snack on?
Jen: Ruffle chips with onion dip
Kate: Junk food
SSM: What is the farthest from home you’ve ever been?
Jen: California for both of us
SSM: Do you have anything you collect?
Jen: Not really, shoes or purses maybe.
SSM: What is your favorite place to shop?
Jen: Forever 21
