SSM: What was it like working with Beverly Mitchell?
Brie: She was great, a real good actress and she matched the real Erica Enders so well that it was freaky.
SSM: It's rumored that you and Sara Paxton became really good friends when you were filming Sleep Over; do you still stay in touch with her?
Brie: Everyday almost. She as been in Canada and I've been in New York so we've been emailing a lot. I'll be seeing her in the next couple days and I can't wait!
SSM: Have you ever seen Summerland with Sara on it; if so what do you think about it?
Brie: Yes I've seen it and I love anything Sara is in. She could read the phone book and it would be entertaining!
SSM: What kind of music do you listen to?
Brie: Lots of different stuff...old vinyl stuff like Hermans Hermits, The Cure, Depeche Mode, and even Duran Duran. The current groups/artists I like are Modest Mouse, Maroon 5 (LOVE THEM), Steriogram, The Killers, Phantom Planet, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, White Stripes, Eddie Brickell, Vanessa Carlton, Avril, Pink, and Jamie Cullum (think I spelled that right?).
SSM: What genre will you be singing?
Brie: I'm kinda like "Pink" crossed with "Eddie Brickell"...I love strong lyrics, good hooks.
SSM: What do you do to relax or make yourself not so worked up
by all the pressure from the media and your career?
Brie: Play Nintendo!! I've got the old school verson, 64, and game cube...I love them all.
SSM: What do you like better: Singing or Acting
Brie: Whatever one I'm doing at the time. When you are in the moment there is nothing that feels better. So if I'm on stage singing then singing is my favorite....if I'm blocking a scene then I love acting.
SSM: If you were to choose, would you rather have an Oscar or a Grammy?
Brie: Wow, I don't know.....The Oscar was my first dream so I'm going to say that...but a grammy would feel great because it would be for something that I wrote myself, hopefully.
SSM: Were you inspired by the Enders girl's story?
Brie: Yes, I think it was cool that they did something that no girls had really done before. They are such champions with everything they do.
SSM: Do people come up to you when you're out places and ask for your autograph?
Brie: Not usually...my hair has changed color a zillion times and I'm about 9" taller from when I did Right on Track
SSM: Would you rather give an autograph or take a picture with a fan?
Brie: Whatever would mean the most to them is what I would rather do.
SSM: What is one modern convenience you can't live without?
Brie: My new Sidekick that I just got today for my birthday...it's amazing!!!
SSM: Do you have any T.V. shows that you just can't miss, that you have to tape if you're not going to be home?
Brie: The O.C., The O.C., The O.C.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SSM: What is the most romantic song you've ever heard?
Brie: Huh, I'm not sure??? Maybe Senorita by Justin Timberlake. No wait...She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5
SSM: If you had the choice to re-do any movie and be the lead, which movie would you choose?
Brie: Breakfast Club
